Kyley & Brian are good friends of mine and I’m so excited to get to shoot their intimate backyard wedding next summer in Boulder, Colorado. These two are such a sweet couple and you can see how much in love they are. We met up in Golden, Colorado to have their Clear Creek History Park Engagement Session this past summer.
Clear Creek History Park is a really cute and popular outdoor museum right in the heart of downtown Golden. It’s located next to the Golden Hotel and runs right along Clear Creek. The park is home to many of the original buildings that were a part of the Pearce Ranch in Golden Gate Canyon. It re-creates the look and feel of an outdoor ranch from the 1800’s and has a few gardens, a working blacksmith shop, school house and chicken coop…complete with chickens that you can feed.
Kyley & Brian’s session started off in the middle of the history park where we got some great photos next to some of the historic buildings. This included a red barn and the famous schoolhouse. They brought their dog Nia along for their shoot to be in a few of the photos. I love it when clients want to include their dogs in their Clear Creek Engagement Session because it gives me a chance to play with some cute and adorable pups. She was a great model and posed perfectly for a few photos with them. Continue on to see some of the great images from their session.
